The Aurora High swim and dive teams were back in action last week after a brief hiatus, with meets at Kent Roosevelt on Monday, followed by a trip to visit Barberton on Wednesday.

The Greenmen teams began quickly with both the girls and boys taking their medley relays to open the meet. After those first events, despite some stiff competition in certain areas, Aurora consistently overpowered their opponent, only being outscored in four of the night’s 24 events. One highlight of the evening was the premier of a new men’s diver, or rather, the only men’s diver, Zachary Ploskunak.

Aurora was able to dispatch another Suburban Conference opponent, with the girls winning by a score of 108 to 71, and the boys winning 118 to 57.
