SXSW reveals Bob Odenkirk, Chelsea Handler, Eric André, more for 2023 comedy lineup

South by Southwest on Monday announced its comedy lineup for this year's fest, and we're already laughing because it's so dang good.

We're talking Jake Johnson, Abbi Jacobson, Caleb Hearon, Patton Oswalt, Rachel Sennott and Anna Kendrick in our city, y'all. SXSW's comedy track runs March 10-18 and will feature live podcast recordings, stand-up showcases, improv, conversations and more, according to the festival.

All SXSW registrants, including Platinum, Interactive, Music and Film & TV badge-holders, can attend comedy showcases at the festival. Those with Film & TV wristbands can attend comedy showcases March 10-18 and music wristband holders can attend March 13-18.

Esther's Follies and The Creek & The Cave will host stand-up showcases this year. The Variety Power of Comedy show on March 10 will feature Eric André, Chelsea Handler, Phoebe Robinson and Tim Robinson & Zach Kanin, as well as Johnson, Kendrick, Oswalt, and Sennott.

Here's the full lineup. Worth nothing: Several of the names on the comedy roster also have other SXSW engagements, from featured sessions to onscreen projects premiering at the fest.
