ALLIANCE

Kamila Rodriguez, fifth grade, Alliance Intermediate School – Kamila came to AIS from her home in Mexico. She has had to learn new customs, cultures, language, and people. She is always smiling, kind, and working hard for her teachers. We are truly grateful to have Kamila join the AIS family this year.

Talen Henderson, fourth grade, Alliance Intermediate School – Talen is rarely without a big smile and a kind hello. He brings joy to the rooms he enters and is a role model for all students.

CANTON CITY

Josetta Tubbs, fourth grade, McGregor Intermediate School – Josetta is extremely kind and helpful and has an amazing attitude, always giving 100% in everything she does. She is engaged in the lessons, and always chooses to do the right thing.

Marcus Freshour, sixth grade, Patrick Elementary School – Marcus has been showing great leadership, following BARK expectations, and showing what he knows in class. We are very proud of the scholar he has become and the confidence he has started to demonstrate in class.

Madison Duckworth, sixth grade, Canton South Middle School – Madison is a delightful young lady that prioritizes her education. She continuously displays an impressive work ethic in addition to having a kind heart and pleasant personality.

Corbin Hilton, sixth grade, Canton South Middle School – Corbin has done great academically this year, and we're really proud of him. He makes good choices, is enjoyable to talk to, and is willing to help out in any situation.

FAIRLESS LOCAL

Addison Blackwood, eighth grade, Fairless Middle School – In class, Addison shows initiative and looks for new ways to get involved. She sets an example of excellence in behavior and cooperation with others. She has incredible self-discipline and was able to maintain all A's while playing a lead role in our school musical.

JACKSON LOCAL

Rayden Mahaffey, fifth grade, Lake Cable Elementary School – Rayden is an exemplary student. He continually is a role model to younger students and his classmates. He has a great work ethic and gives his best effort every day. He has a positive attitude and shows respect to staff and his peers. He takes the initiative to do what needs to be done and makes great choices.

LAKE CENTER CHRISTIAN

Addie Smith, sixth grade – Addie is a diligent worker and a deep thinker who always gives her best effort. She is considerate and empathetic and truly has a heart for others.

Caleb Starkey, eighth grade – Caleb meets each day with joy, eagerness, and excitement. He is described as a student who loves learning, loves his friends, and brings his teachers joy through his sense of humor.

LAKE LOCAL

Charlotte Brophy, seventh grade, Lake Middle/High School – Charlotte is such a kindhearted student that positively influences others around her with her character. She has that genuinely kind, positive personality that can turn your bad day into a good day. Day after day, Charlotte continuously projects care and kindness to others. Her personality can brighten up a room. It is also obvious that she has the self-confidence and self-worth to show humility towards the other students in our school. Charlotte, with her positive character, is the perfect example of a student who Makes Lake Great.

Mack Crespo, seventh grade, Lake Middle/High School – Mack Crespo encompasses every positive virtue that a teacher would want in a student. He is a positive role model with leadership, character and humility. He continuously represents himself positively displaying the six pillars of character on a daily basis. Mack creates a fun, positive environment whether in the classroom or in his athletics. He is looked up to by so many because of his self-discipline, positive outlook and genuine kindness toward others. I am thankful to see a student like Mack walking through the hallways of our school because I know he is projecting his positive virtues to so many others that need encouragement.

LOUISVILLE CITY

Aiden Hunter, fifth grade, Louisville Elementary School – Aiden is an outgoing, funny, helpful, compassionate, young man. If you need help with anything, Aiden is your guy! He is so kind to everyone around him. He is truly a friend to all!

MARLINGTON LOCAL

Eliza McNutt, fifth grade, Lexington Elementary School – Eliza has shown continuous improvements since the beginning of the school year. She is always eager to learn and participate in class discussions.

Braxton Penny, fourth grade, Lexington Elementary School – Braxton is an awesome classroom helper. Always looking for ways to clean up and help others.

MASSILLON CITY

Sophia Sciortino, eighth grade, Massillon Junior High School – Sophia is a mature, genuine, and caring young lady. She was selected to work as an office aide this year because of her dependability and trustworthiness. Sophia brings a smile to everyone she comes in contact with. Sophia is an outstanding example of a student who demonstrates positive character traits!

Jayce McKinney, eighth grade, Massillon Junior High School – Jayce is a conscientious student and always does his best work. He has an amazing sense of humor and puts forth 110% effort in everything he does. Jayce is a hard worker in football and has broken a team school record in track. Thank you for being a role model to others, Jayce!

MINERVA LOCAL

Temperance Muck, seventh grade, Minerva Middle School – Tempi is one of the few students I know is going to come into class every day excited to learn, ask questions when it is necessary, and be a helping hand when I need. Her growth in intelligence and personality from sixth grade through her seventh-grade year so far is such a promising development to see as a teacher. I know she will be a true leader through eighth grade and into her high school years. Keep being awesome, Tempi!

Jason Sivy, eighth grade, Minerva Middle School – Jason chooses to do what is right over what may be popular. Jason doesn't only accept hard work, he welcomes it. He enjoys pushing himself to new limits and brings others along with him on his journey.

NORTH CANTON CITY

Lena Fostyk, sixth grade, North Canton Middle School – Lena demonstrates a high level of character on a daily basis. Lena was new to our school this year and quickly stood out as an exemplary student. She is extremely responsible, trustworthy and caring throughout the school day with both her peers and staff.

Braden Traya, sixth grade, North Canton Middle School – Braden is a great example of character at North Canton Middle School. He displays respect and care toward both his peers and staff members. Braden also displays a high level of trustworthiness in the classroom setting.

OSNABURG LOCAL

Addison Coy, fifth grade, East Canton Elementary School – Addison is a quiet leader amongst her peers. She is always well-mannered and exhibits excellent behavior in class. Thank you, Addison, for always being an example to your peers and showing your Hornet PRIDE!

Carter Price, fifth grade, East Canton Elementary School – Carter is a shining role model for his classmates. Carter is a hard-working student who is always respectful and helpful. He maintains integrity at all times. Thank you, Carter, for your consistent effort in being the best you can be for yourself and others!

PERRY LOCAL

Shelby Sikora, sixth grade, Pfeiffer Intermediate School – Shelby has been a two-year member of Student Council and she shows so much initiative and input for the activities that the students will do to make the school and community better. Shelby is a member of the school band and choir, she leads by her example in the way that a model student is supposed to think, act, and perform. She has a positive attitude and takes everything that she is involved in seriously and gives 100%.

Benjamin Cunningham, fourth grade – Ben is the definition of a kid of character. He shows respect to peers and adults through the building, always leading by example.

PLAIN LOCAL

Aryianna Dennard, sixth grade, Glenwood Intermediate School – Aryianna is an extremely hard-working student who always strives to do her best. She has a great attitude, even when the work is difficult. Aryianna is a delight to have in class and a great example of how a Glenwood Eagle can SOAR.

Dathan Holley, eighth grade, Oakwood Middle School – Dathan displays great character and leadership. He stands up for what is right and is not afraid to do his own thing. He is always polite, respectful, and willing to help others. As a hard worker, Dathan will push through the tough times and excel.

SANDY VALLEY

Gracyn Winters, seventh grade, Sandy Valley Middle School – Gracyn is always helpful toward others. She plays volleyball, basketball, and softball and enjoys drawing, painting, cooking and baking. If there is one thing she would like to change about the world, it would be to give more opportunities to those who are less fortunate. When she finishes school, she aspires to study athletic training at Ohio State University.

Noah Morris, seventh grade, Sandy Valley Middle School – Noah is trustworthy and demonstrates good decision-making skills every day. He is a leader on his teams and always wants people to do their best and have fun. His favorite subject is science, and he plays basketball, baseball, and enjoys fishing in his spare time. One of his favorite things is to spend time with his family outdoors.

ST. THOMAS AQUINAS
