LEESBURG —– Big things are happening for T.C. Stallings, who starred in “No Vacancy,” filmed in Leesburg and now streaming on several channels.

Stallings, who also starred in “War Room,” will speak at the Patriots Day prayer breakfast on 9-11, is working to produce his own spiritual movie.

Potential movie backers include ClearPlay, a video editing service that filters graphic scenes and language from shows. The free service is available on such shows as “Ted Lasso.”

Stallings said he has been brand ambassador for the free ClearPlay service for four years.

He has already lined up a stunt man who has worked on “Captain America” and other superhero movies.

“I could not have asked for a better situation,” he said. He hopes to have the movie come out in the fall of 2024 or the spring of 2025.

Stallings was a senior playing football for the University of Louisville when terrorists attacked New York City and Washington, D.C.

“No one on those planes, or the people who were going to the World Trade Center, knew what was going to happen,” he said.

It made him realize just how precious time really is.

He will challenge people at the breakfast with the question: “What are you going to do with your time?”

Tickets for the event at the Venetian Center are $20 and are available at 911patriot.org.

Everyone will face final judgment one day, Stallings said, and no one wants to be the person in the Bible addressed by Jesus who says, “Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.”

“Don’t waste a moment,” he said.

Earlier coverage: 'No Vacancy,' a movie based on a true story and filmed in Leesburg, arrives

Art Ayris, who wrote the script and produced “No Vacancy,” has agreed to be the executive producer for Stallings’ new film.

“It really put Leesburg on the map,” Ayris said of ‘No Vacancy.” The movie is based on the true story of First Baptist Church opening a homeless shelter for families.

“No Vacancy,” which is available on streaming channels, has been translated into Farsi, Turkish, Arabic, Dutch and Korean.

Stallings played in the Canadian Football League and for a European team that won its version of the Super Bowl.

He began his movie career in 2004. He is now working at a time when African Americans are scoring big hits at the box office, including superhero "Black Panther.: Wakanda Forever," based on a Marvel comic.

He described himself in an iHollywood podcast as “an actor who happens to be a Christian.”

He said he was open to all kinds of scripts as long as he could answer one question: “Can I do this in front of Jesus?”
