T.J. Maxx sister store Sierra to open at Rookwood Commons & Pavilion

TJX, the parent company of T.J. Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods, is opening another store in Rookwood Commons & Pavilion.

The off-price retailer Sierra is moving into the former Stein Mart location at 2692 Madison Road, according to building documents filed at the address. The retailer is also listed on the shopping center's website as "coming soon" and is featured on the site map.

The Enquirer reached out to Rookwood Commons & Pavilion for a comment but has not received a response. The opening date of the store has yet to been announced.

What is Sierra?

Sierra, formerly known as Sierra Trading Post, was founded in 1986 and acquired by TJX in 2012. The retailer specializes in outdoor apparel, footwear, gear and sporting goods, as well as home fashions and pet goods in an off-price model.

Sierra has locations in Columbus, Cleveland and Florence.
