Nailed It! Show-Stopping Summer Nail Color Trends

The summer season is all about celebrating individuality—especially when it comes to your manicure. Diverse trends on the runway brought a new set of nudes, bold brights, glitter, and even dark, moody polishes. Although practically every color of the rainbow had some time to shine, the looks all had one thing in common: They made a major statement.

Please see below for the team's recommendations on summer nail colors :) Since we are a non-toxic nail art salon, we exclusively use Japanese gel polishes (and some Korean nail products) as Japan has much stricter regulations than the US in terms of chemicals they ban for beauty and self care products, making their nail products the most non-toxic available on the market. It's also has the best consistency and pigmentation for nail art. Recently when we have clients that are unsure of what they want and insisting on our color choices, we've been leaning towards the greens that we love, because green always seems to have a quality that is grounding and also welcomes abundance. Our favorite is Leafgel #403, which is a really fun pistachio color and one of our go-to's that clients instantly become obsessed with. We also love Leafgel #68 which is a gorgeous minty pastel green, and this new brand that is also a great non-toxic option with fun colors, "From the Nail" #87, which is a vibrant chartreuse. Leafgel #351 is the coolest iridescent color with a light purple sheen ––a fun change from a neutral that isn't too loud. Chrome is also having a moment and we're here for it. Leafgel #115 is the most beautiful butter-like color that i've recently become obsessed with. Definitely going to incorporate that into my next nail art mani. Hope this is good!
