TAC opening four new exhibitions

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The Art Center of Western Colorado is excited to open four new art exhibitions for the public.

TAC will open the four new exciting exhibitions at The Art Center of Western Colorado on March 1 at the First Friday Celebration, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The new exhibitions include:

  • CMU Student Show

    • Selected works in Colorado Mesa University’s Annual Juried Student Exhibition. Sponsored by Dr. Michael Neste

  • From Canyons to Canvas

    • Artists who participated in the Colorado National Monument Association’s October 2022 Monument & Canyons Plain Air event returned to their studios and refined their creations into masterpieces.

  • Rockies West National

    • This exhibition is one of the most competitive national exhibits for watercolor. It is hosted by the Western Colorado Watercolor Society.

  • Form

    • The third in the 7 “Elements of Art” series using works from TAC’s permanent collection
