Taco Bell is removing even more favorites from its menu. Here’s what you’ll miss

It’s happening again.

Some of your favorite Taco Bell menu items are getting axed not long after the company already removed a big chunk from the menu, the company announced.

The changes are part of the company’s “2020 menu revamp,” which took effect on Aug. 13 when Taco Bell said goodbye to the grilled steak soft taco, spicy potato soft taco, nachos supreme, the mini skillet breakfast bowl, fiesta potatoes and quesarito, according to McClatchy News. Now the company says the revamp will be complete when more items leave the menu on Nov. 5.

The items that will disappear from the menu in November are the Mexican pizza, pico de gallo and shredded chicken products, according to a release on Taco Bell’s website.

The Mexican Pizza’s end comes as the company works to make good on their promise of going greener. “Removing it from our menus helps us work towards our commitment to leave a lighter footprint on our planet,” the company said. “Currently, Mexican Pizza packaging accounts for over 7 million pounds of paperboard material per year in the U.S.”

But the company is also adding items to the menu come Nov. 5.

They include a chicken chipotle melt and dragon fruit freeze, which will be available at stores nationwide; green sauce, which will be available depending on the region; and a quesalupa, which is being tested by the company in Knoxville, Tennessee.

While the quesarito left the menu in August, it’s still available to order on Taco Bell’s mobile app, the company says on its website. Taco Bell also says there is a way to customize an order on the mobile app that may allow customers to build something resembling the 7-layer burrito.
