Taco and Margarita Festival returns to Sacramento this weekend. Here’s how to get in
This weekend you can celebrate tacos and margaritas at the Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento.
The Sacramento Taco and Margarita Festival is Saturday and will feature local retail vendors, live music and — of course — a variety of tacos and margaritas.
There will also be live professional wrestling with Pro Championship Wrestling, a taco eating contest and hot chili pepper eating contest, according to the event’s Facebook page.
Tickets
General admission tickets for the festival are on sale starting at $19. Tacos and margaritas are for-purchase.
Kids 12 and under enter free.
Event Schedule
According to the Facebook page, the event runs from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Golden 1 Center and the schedule is:
Noon to 1 p.m.: Pro Championship Live Pro Wrestling in the arena
1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Taco Eating Contest and live DJ
2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Live band in the plaza
2 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Pro Championship Live Pro Wrestling in the arena
3 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Taco Eating Contest and live DJ
4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Live band in the plaza
4 p.m to 5 p.m.: Pro Championship Live Pro Wrestling in the arena
5 p.m. to Close - Live DJ
