It's taco time! Here's what to know about the 4th annual Louisville Taco Festival

If you love tacos ― and come on, who doesn't? ― the fourth annual Louisville Taco Festival will fill all your tortilla-based needs this weekend.

The two-day festival will take place at Fourth Street Live!, 411 S. Fourth St., on Saturday and Sunday. More than 15 of Louisville's best restaurants, food trucks and carts ― including I Love Tacos, Tacos de Carne Estrada, Mexi Cocina and Elotes Stand ― will be serving up mouth-watering tacos from 2-7 p.m. on both days.

Online tickets for general admission for both days is $14.99 and comes with a complimentary drink. Officials said Saturday tickets are nearly sold out, but a limited number of entry tickets will be sold at the door beginning at 4 p.m.

A Sunday VIP package that includes early entry starting at noon, a private VIP seating area, food and drink vouchers and a gift bag is also available for $54.99. Children ages 10 and under can get in for free both days.

Vendors will operate on a voucher system, with each voucher costing $4. Sheets of five vouchers for $20 will also be available.

One voucher will be good for two menu items at most vendors, officials said.

Aside from the food, there will be giant beer pong, Baggo and tailgate games for adults. Children can hang out in the Kid Zone with a bounce house on the second floor of the venue.

More than just tacos are on the menu for this year's festival. Additional vendors will be on hand to sell other fare, including Mexican street corn, churritos, churros, tamales, nachos, desserts and more.
