"The Talk" host and former Broadway star Amanda Kloots shares her take on Broadway opening up after being dark since March 2020 due to the pandemic. "The Broadway community needs this; New York City needs this; the tourism industry needs this; the city needs this. If there's anyone that can come back bigger, better, stronger, it is Broadway." She adds, "The smiles will be bigger, the jazz hands will be wider! And it's gonna be a celebration. I do think though, it's going to take some time... it's a process, you have to re-rehearse. I'm sure there's a lot of different Covid protocols now that are going to be instituted into each show. So, I think this is great because it gives it a start date, but I would expect it's probably not until September, maybe even January that we are seeing these shows really coming back to light, old shows and new shows. But congratulations Broadway. I can't wait to back into a theatre to watch my fellow actors, dancers and singers perform. You guys are amazing."
