Talk on dealing with grief at holidays set for McGlinn Conference and Spirituality Center [Religion Digest[

St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 219 Maidencreek Road, Richmond Township, will hold its annual Christmas bazaar on Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Barto, will worship on Christ the King Sunday at 9 a.m., with Holy Communion. Following the service, the fall congregational meeting will be held. Prior to the worship service, Coffee & Conversation will be held at 8:30 in the Welcome Center, and after worship there will be Coffee & Conversation as well. Adult Bible study will be held in the parlor after the congregational meeting. Masks are recommended.

St. Peter's United Church of Christ of Molltown, 219 Maidencreek Road, Richmond Township, will have a Thanksgiving Eve worship service Wednesday at 7 p.m. with music by Mike and Linda Hertzog.

Zion United Church of Christ will worship with the congregation of St. Paul's Church, 301 W Penn Ave., Robesonia, in-person on Sunday at 10:15 as well as by YouTube and Facebook. St. Paul's will host social time after the service. Information can be found at 1zion.org or sprucc.org.

Reformation Lutheran Church, 3670 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter Township, will hold in-person worship Sunday at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Masks are required. The Reformation Choir, under the direction of Dr. Heidi Rochlin, director of music, will lead worship at the later service. Sunday school, for all ages, begins at 9:30. Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, 250 Church Lane Road, Exeter Township, will hold an in-person service at 10:30 a.m. featuring Keystone Military Families. The recorded service will be available Monday on Facebook.

Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 170 Tuckerton Road, Muhlenberg Township, will hold its annual Craft and Cookie Bazaar today. Breakfast will be served from 9 to 11 a.m., ad the bazaar runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Items available will be pies, cakes, cookies, homemade jams and jellies, hand crocheted items and more. Faith Formation will be held Sunday at 9 a.m., with worship at 10:30 both virtually and in person. Following worship, leftover items from today will be available for purchase. The livestream is on Facebook and YouTube. Masks are require in the building.

Christ Episcopal Church, 435 Court St., Reading, will feature David Cullen in an Evensong Blues Mass tonight at 5:30 as part of the Berks Blues Fest. On Sunday, there will be three in-person worship services, all including Holy Eucharist: at 8, there will be a said service (no music); at 9, a service for families with young children; and at 10:15, a service with music. Everyone attending these services is asked to wear a mask. Parking is available at the Abraham Lincoln parking garage and the M & T Bank lot, both off of Washington street. On Thursday morning at 11, a morning prayer group based on the Book of Common Prayer will meet at the Red Bridge recreational area in Bern Township.

Trinity United Church of Christ, 2449 Cumberland Ave., Mount Penn, will celebrate Harvest Home Sunday at 10:15 a.m. Adult church school will be held at 9. Masks are recommended for everyone regardless of vaccination status. The service will also be recorded and posted on Facebook.

St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5 W. Arch St., Fleetwood, will have two worship services in the sanctuary on Sunday, at 9 and 10:30 a.m. The 9 a.m. service also will be available on Facebook and YouTube; links can be found at www.stpaulsfleetwood.org. Special music will be "There Is None Like You" at 9 and "Make It a Day of Thanksgiving" at 10:30 by the Chancel Choir. The hymn soloist will be Bob Ames. Worship leaders are Gary Reinert at 9 and Vicky Garl at 10:30.

Friedens United Church of Christ, 337 Main St., Oley, will hold in-person and Zoom worship Sunday at 10:15 a.m. The church bazaar will be held today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with eat-in and take-out available. Homemade food includes soups, barbecue, hoagies, hot dogs, potato filling, cakes and pies. There also will be white elephant tables, a plant sale, basket raffles and other vendor tables.

Reading Moravian Church, 1116 Perry St., Reading, will hold its Harvest Home Sunday at 10 a.m. Monetary gifts will be accepted to be given to Helping Harvest, the Berks County food bank.

St. John's Lutheran Church, 45 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown, will hold in-person worship Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Masks are required. Livestreamed worship continues on YouTube (St. John's ELC Boyertown). St. Michael's Church, Tilden Township, will worship at Bethany United Methodist Church, 321 Island St., Hamburg, on Thanksgiving Eve Wednesday at 7 p.m. Four pastors and churches will be participating.

Maidencreek Church, 261 Main St., Maidencreek Township, will hold a hybrid worship service celebrating Reign of Christ Sunday at 9 a.m. with Communion and a slide presentation of the past year. Music includes Betsy McGeorge, Amy Powlus and Kelli Rosenberger, flute trio; middle/high school youth on chimes; Maidencreek youth, singing; SaraAnn Harbonic, piano solo; and Kimberly Ayrton, organ; as well as a congregational hymn.
