Tallahassee Community College men's basketball to honor sophomores in conference championship game
The regular season is coming to a close and Tallahassee Community College men's basketball is trying to go out with a bang in its final contest before the postseason.
The Eagles (25-4, 8-3 Panhandle) will host the Chipola College Indians (27-2, 9-2 Panhandle) of Marianna inside of the Bill Hebrock Eagledome on Saturday for a chance to clinch a share of the Panhandle Conference Championship.
Tipoff is 4 p.m.
Nine of TCC's sophomores will also be honored before their final home game.
The Eagles and the Indians have split the season series with TCC winning on Jan. 21 and Chipola winning on Feb. 8.
TCC is currently No. 11 in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I rankings and is second behind No. 3 Chipola in the Panhandle Conference.
