Tallahassee police investigating overnight fatal shooting
Police are investigating an overnight fatal shooting in south Tallahassee that left one adult male dead, according to the Tallahassee Police Department Twitter account.
The shooting occurred early Monday, just after midnight, in the 400 block of DuPont Road.
Police arrived on scene and located an adult male with "serious injuries," according to TPD. He was transported to a hospital, where he died.
The Tallahassee Police Department is currently conducting a homicide investigation following a shooting that occurred just after midnight in the 400 block of DuPont Road.

The investigation is ongoing and TPD asks for anyone with information to call 850-891-4200.
So far this year, three people were killed and 13 were injured in at least 20 shooting incidents in Tallahassee and Leon County, according to a Tallahassee Democrat analysis.
