Which Tallahassee restaurants are open on Christmas day or Christmas Eve? Here are a few.

No plans of cooking a Christmas meal this holiday season? Several Tallahassee restaurants will still be open for individuals who choose to dine out instead.

Although many large restaurant chains such as Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse and Cracker Barrel will be closed on Christmas, other options give people in the Tallahassee community a variety of cuisines to choose from — with some offering traditional meals.

Here's a quick list of restaurants that will be open on Christmas Eve and/or Christmas day.

Tallahassee restaurants open Christmas day

Kacey's Buffet: Holiday hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Traditional meal options include ham, turkey, dressing and sides such as mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, sweet potato, corn, beans and cabbage. The buffet is located on 2545 North Monroe St. and can be contacted at 850-727-0854.

Sam's Country Buffet: Holiday hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The buffet’s usual home-style Sunday options such as BBQ spare rib, fried shrimp and oxtail will be served. The restaurant is located at 1214 Capital Circle SE. Contact 850-765-9732.

Nagoya Steakhouse and Sushi: This Japanese steakhouse will operate during regular hours from noon to 9:30 p.m. and offers both dine-in and takeout options. The restaurant can be contacted at 850-553-1867.

IHOP: The two IHOP restaurants in Tallahassee will be open during normal operating hours. While the IHOP located at 2840 Apalachee Pkwy will be open from 12 a.m. to 10 p.m. and can be contacted at 850-656-1621, the one on 2225 N. Monroe St. will be open 24 hours and can be reached at 850-385-0010.

Lucilla: This restaurant will have a special Christmas menu and will be open during regular hours from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Christmas day reservations will continue being accepted from 2-6 p.m. Sunday. Located at 1241 E. Lafayette St., the restaurant can be contacted at 850-900-5117.

Joy Luck Place: This Chinese restaurant is open from 2-11 p.m. on Christmas day with usual servings such as lo mein, noodles, rice and seafood being offered. The restaurant is located at 1002 N. Monroe St. and can be contacted at 850-765-1946.

Volcano Hot Pot & BBQ: This restaurant will operate during regular hours from noon to 10:30 p.m. and offers authentic cook-at-your-table dishes. The hot pot restaurant is located at 1872 Thomasville Rd. Contact 850-222-6888.

Mayuri Indian Restaurant: Hours of operation are from 5:30-9:30 p.m. The casual eatery offers South Indian dishes with buffet options and is located at 1324 Simpson Ave. Contact the restaurant at 850-402-9993.

Super Perros Colombian Restaurant: This restaurant offers Columbian-style fare such as Columbian empanadas and marinated and grilled chicken breast. Holiday hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and it is located at 2010 W. Tennessee St. Contact the restaurant at 850-421-2378.

Aaru's Multicuisine Restaurant: Holiday hours are 11:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5-10 p.m. This Asian fusion, Indian restaurant is located at 1108 S. Magnolia Dr. Contact the restaurant at 850-350-0129.

Brooklyn Pizza: This New-York style pizza restaurant will be open during its regular hours from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Located on 2035 W. Pensacola St., servings besides pizzas include burgers, subs and wings. Contact the restaurant at 850-224-5454.

Reangthai Thai Restaurant: Hours of operation are from 4:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Christmas Eve. Located at 2740 Capital Cir. NE, servings include traditional stir-fries and noodles. Contact the restaurant at 850-386-7898.

The Honey Baked Ham Company: This restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday for the holidays. With dishes including smoked hams and turkey, the restaurant is located at 1519 Capital Cir. NE and can be reached at 850-205-1426.

Café du Matin: Open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve, this restaurant serves Peruvian dishes and is located at 2743 Capital Cir NE. Contact the restaurant at 850-900-5969.

Table 23: This restaurant features Southern-style fare and will operate during holiday hours from 4-9 p.m. Saturday. Located at 1215 Thomasville Rd, it can be contacted at 850-329-2261.

Georgio's Fine Food and Spirits: Serving traditional Greek, Italian and American dishes, this restaurant will be open from 4-9 p.m. and is located at 2971 Apalachee Pkwy. Contact the restaurant at 850-877-3211.

Ruby Tuesday: Holiday hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., located at 2491 Care Dr. This American restaurant features burgers, a salad bar and cocktails. Contact the restaurant at 850-219-7829.
