Tallassee teen dies in Elmore County single-vehicle crash

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency will accept unwanted prescriptions Saturday across Alabama.

A Tallassee man has died after a single-vehicle crash Saturday in Elmore County.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Sergeant Jeremy J. Burkett said Sunday that the crash occurred at around 9:06 p.m. on East Fleahop Road, around three miles South of Eclectic.

Jordan F. Brown, 19, was driving a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe that left the road and hit a tree. Brown was not wearing a seatbelt.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division Troopers are still investigating and no further information is available for release.
