Tallmadge Recreation Center and Maca Aquatic Center have increased their rates, but there is still time to renew before the higher prices take effect.

Effective March 1, annual memberships to the Recreation Center will increase by $36, while monthly fees and annual EFT will increase by $3. Nonresident children's monthly rate for blue level memberships will increase from $24 to $28, and all other non-resident children rates remain the same.

The city is also adding cancellation fees for annual EFT memberships at a cost of $30 for 31-90 days after the renewal date, $60 for 91-180 days after the renewal date and $90 for 181-270 days after the renewal date.

There is a $2-$3 increase on special recreation center memberships including for college students, military and senior programs.

Daily passes are increasing by $1-$3, depending on the type of admission.

The city is no longer limiting the number of Maca passes it sells, and is keeping costs for residents with 1-3 people in the households the same. Resident households of four will increase from $195 to $210 and there is a new $30 increase for each additional member of the household. Non-resident fees are increasing as well.

All daily admissions fees, regardless of residency, will be $10 for ages 3-12, $15 for ages 13-59 and $5 for ages 60 and up.
