Tamika Hamilton hopes to pull off upset in 6th Congressional District race

Voters in Northern California will decide who will represent the newly drawn 6th Congressional District. Congressman Ami Bera is the Democratic front runner in the race who has represented the 7th Congressional District. He faces Republican Tamika Hamilton, who is hoping to pull off an upset. "I believe we can do this," Hamilton told KCRA 3 on Monday. "I feel really good. We did as much as we could possibly do to reach as many voters that you can reach in a situation like this, I'm just really excited for tomorrow." Hamilton spent 14 years in the air force. For the past six years, she's been in the reserves. She said these experiences will help her in Washington D.C.
