Tampa’s Straz Center announces more shows in the 2021-22 season

The David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts has added more shows to its 2021-22 season. The shows range from musical performances and parodies to dance and comedy.

Since it announced its Broadway season in April, the Straz has added Dear Evan Hansen. The Tony Award-winning musical, which has been adapted into a movie that premieres this month, returns Feb. 1-6, 2022. Tickets go on sale Sept. 20.

Beginning Sept. 18, attendees age 5 and older will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test certified by a test provider or a CDC vaccination card showing full vaccination before gaining entrance to indoor performances at the Straz. Masks will continue to be required at all times for anyone 2 and older while inside.

Single tickets for most 2021-22 season performances go on sale Sept. 20. Visit strazcenter.org for tickets and more information.
