Here’s How Tamra Judge Really Feels About Staying at Dorinda’s Berkshires House

On the June 30 episode of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club, Tamra Judge was in tears during an argument she had with Dorinda Medley about the house rules of Bluestone Manor. Now, several months after leaving the Berkshires abode, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is sharing her new perspective on Dorinda’s ability to make it nice.
“She is an amazing host. She is,” Tamra recently told BravoTV.com. “She does — and I found out after the fact, ’cause she was a stress monster a lot of the time — a lot of the [hosting work during the] day, and I guess she really does take it serious. The decorating and making sure everybody has what they need and the food and all that stuff. So she was really highly stressed.”
As an interior design enthusiast, Tamra has an appreciation for everything that makes Bluestone Manor so unique. “I don’t know how many acres it’s on, but there [are] rolling lawns and boxwood that’s all cut up in little mazes and designs,” she said. “And the decor in the house is just over-the-top and [eclectic] and very colorful, and she’s got a Christmas tree all year round. This Christmas tree was made of flowers, and [there is] a big peacock in the living room with a diamond necklace on. Like, there are so many aspects of this house. You could just really stay there for a week and notice something new every single day.”
That goes for the surrounding area as well. “It’s very surreal. Like, you’ve seen it on [The Real Housewives of New York City] for so many years and, you know, it’s iconic, and it’s historic, and it’s beautiful, and you don’t really realize where it’s at,” she explained. “When we saw it on [RHONY], we saw the inside of the property and the fish room and the kitchen, them cooking, things like that. But the actual drive there is stunning... It is very green and lush, and the houses are few and far between, and they have a quaint little town. We [got] to go into town a couple of times, and we [visited] some of the historic restaurants and buildings there. So it’s really a beautiful area.”
