Pooler could get new 13,000 square foot retail space near Tanger Outlets

An addition near Tanger Outlets may be coming to Pooler, with 13,000 square feet of retail space pending approval by Pooler City Council.

The Pooler Planning and Zoning Commission approved unanimously the site plan for an outparcel of Tanger Outlets at 220 Tanger Outlets Blvd.

The site plan has eight units available, with three being food service or general retail, and five units being designated for general retail. It will be located near the main entrance of the facility and will establish a new right in/out opening.

If approved by council, it will be among projects coming to Pooler such as the Chick-Fil-A in Godley Station, the Galen College of Nursing, and, potentially, a Wawa. Council will meet again on Feb. 5.
