Free Slash Pine Tree seedlings and Bald Cypress Trees from Cherry Lake Tree Farm will be handed out first come, first serve on Saturday starting at 8 a.m. at 420 Lake Minneola Shorts in Clermont, until supplies run out.
Books & Beans
Join the new young adult book club hosted by Water Gypsy Coffee in Leesburg and the Leesburg Public Library on Saturday at 1 p.m. Meetings will happen bi-weekly. The current title is Beast of Prey by Ayana Gray.
16th Annual Central Florida Film Festival
The 16th Annual Central Florida Film Festival features over 150 films from around the world, numerous industry panel discussions, screening talkbacks, special guests, meet and greets and nightly networking parties held at the festival theater.
The festival takes place this weekend at Epic Theaters in Mount Dora. Tickets are $10 each, $35 for the day or $85 for the weekend.
9th Annual Bass Tournament
Lake County Sheriff's Charities, Inc. is excited to host the 9th Annual Bass Tournament. Join hundreds of other anglers in this 75% payback event on Saturday from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All proceeds benefit LCSO Charities, Inc.

A Girl’s Best Friend Father Daughter Dance
Show your little princess how much you care for her by taking her to a father and daughter dance Denim & Diamonds style on Saturday at 6 p.m.
This daddy and daughter time together will feature dinner, music, dancing and more.
Cost is $30 per father and daughter.
Party & Health Fair
Join the city of Eustis for the New Year with a Community Block Party & Health Fair in Palmetto Plaza on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will have free health screenings, vaccinations, and more while enjoying free burgers, music, and a bounce house for the kids.
Vaccinations that will be offered: COVID-19, Boosters, and influenza (flu).
Renninger's Industrial Steampunk Show
Come on out to Renningers Mount Dora Flea Market, 20651 US Highway 441 in Mount Dora, for their annual Industrial Steampunk Show. Browse through a host of vendors and dress for the festivities.
Classic Car Cruise Show
Enjoy the fourth Saturday classic car cruise show as about 150 Classic Cars cruise in to Historic Downtown Eustis on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Enjoy the downtown shops and restaurants, great music and cool cars.

Legion Post Dedication
American Legion Post 35 is honoring three distinguished veterans by dedicating portions of the post in their honor on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Food and drinks at the reception afterwards. Please come on out and celebrate.
Come on out for a homemade chili lunch for just $5 at the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis, 117 S Center Street in Eustis starting at noon.
Taste test different recipes made by individuals, families and youth of the church. The top chili will be determined by your votes and we will crown a Chili Grand Champion at the end of the event. Hot dogs, corn bread, desserts and drinks will be available.
Cocomelon Dance Party
Join the Cocomelon gang in Cafe Court of the Lake Square Mall, 10401 US 441 in Leesburg, on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. for their Cocomelon Dance Party with DJ Kelly.
Event will include music, games and a meet and greet.

KLEE Annual Seaplane Splash-In
Come by the Leesburg International Airport on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and see the Boss 182 on Wipline 3000 floats. It’s going to be fun for everyone.
