Taraji P. Henson, 49, just shared a no-makeup Instagram selfie showing off her fresh and glowy skin, fun pink braids, and a Maya-Angelou-inspired t-shirt. Apparently, even though she's one of the biggest movie stars in the world, she keeps her skincare routine minimalist and low-key. In fact, you can probably grab all her favorite products at the drugstore.

"Just here on 🌍 being #PhenominallyBLACK #nomakeup #justwokeup #nofilter #justme ✌🏾 🙏🏾💋💋💋" she captioned the selfie, in which she wears a Phenomenally Black shirt from the Phenomenal Woman Action Campaign, which is inspired by Maya Angelou's "Phenomenal Woman" poem and supports organizations like the Black Futures Lab.

"I’m a nut when it comes to washing makeup off," Taraji told SELF earlier this year. "I wipe it off with wipes first. Olay has one, Neutrogena has one, and the Yes To cucumber wipes—I fluctuate between the three of those."

How does she make sure there's no makeup leftover? "I wipe until I see a light residue. That way I know it’s all off," she said. "And then I go through with my exfoliant Bioré scrub. It comes in a toothpaste squeeze bottle. Sometimes I’ll do that, and then I’ll follow up with the Bioré regular charcoal wash. All I use is Bioré Charcoal face wash. That’s it. I don’t even do facials."

Even though she's not a skincare obsessive with a 12-step ritual, Taraji takes care of her skin in other ways, too. She hydrates to the point of having her assistant follow her around set with a bottle of water and makes sure to get plenty of sleep.

"Unlike when I was in my twenties, now, I go to sleep," she told The Zoe Report. "I definitely get my rest, I take naps, I look forward to going to bed, I am happy when it’s time to go to bed, I don’t have to be in the streets all the time. I used to have to always be out, but now, I take time to myself. And I do that a lot. Plus, I’ve learned how to say no."
