Tarek El Moussa And Heather Rae Young's First Joint Interview Is a Total Love Fest
Ever since Tarek El Moussa and his new boo, real estate agent and star of Netflix's Selling Sunset Heather Rae Young, have become an official couple, they've been super lovey-dovey. I mean, have you read those Instagram captions?! The couple sat down with PeopleTV’s Reality Check for their first joint interview and spilled all the details about their relationship.
“We’ve been spending a lot of time together…and we just have so much fun,” Tarek told People. “After all the hardships that I’ve experienced, and there’s so many ups and downs in life, sometimes having fun is like the best medicine.”
Tarek has definitely been through a lot—he's battled cancer twice, and has gone through a separation and divorce from his former wife and Flip or Flop co-star, Christina Anstead.
After the first photos of the new couple kissing on a boat emerged, rumors swirled that Tarek's new lady looked a lot like his ex-wife—but of course, the couple appears to be unfazed.
“We really focus on having fun and living life and just enjoying each other’s company," Tarek said. "And going out to dinner, and going boating, and….I’m talking too much because I’m excited."
Heather also dished on their date nights, saying that they love to just do "normal people things" like hanging out, watching movies, and going out to dinner.
“He’s been very romantic; it’s been very amazing,” she said. “All happiness and smiles.”
