Target's New, Affordable Weighted Blanket Is Here to Keep You Sane This Holiday
By now you've probably heard rumblings about the potential benefits of weighted blankets (see: reduced stress levels, deeper sleep, etc.). The glaring problem with 'em? Clocking in at several hundred dollars, they're a pretty expensive sleep experiment.
Well, leave it to good, old Target to bring an affordable version to the masses—and just in time for the most festive chaotic season of the year. Meet: The aptly named "tranquility blanket" ($70), which currently comes in two weights (12 and 18 lbs) and two colorways (gray and ivory). These attractive toppers are filled with tiny glass beads, which, as with most weighted blankets, are meant to simulate the feeling of being hugged, by distributing soft pressure across your body. (Now doesn't that sounds cozy?)
