Target’s GIft Card Sale Will Be Back This Weekend for 10% Off

Target is bringing back its annual gift card sale for two extra days, starting tomorrow and continuing through Sunday, Dec. 6. And the maximum discount has increased from last year’s $30 off to $50 off a maximum of $500 in gift cards purchased.

Target’s Gift Card Sale Details

Target announced in a release Thursday that it will offer gift cards for 10% off this weekend, both in-store and online. For gift cards purchased online, they’ll either be delivered via regular mail as well as digitally.

“In this unique holiday season, the perfect gift is one that is easy to send and receive from the safety and comfort of home,” Target’s release read, referring to the current Covid-19 restrictions.

How to Qualify for Target’s Gift Card Sale

In order to get the 10% off, though, you must be a member of Target Circle, the store’s free loyalty program that launched last October, and the discount can only be applied to one transaction at Target or Target.com through a Target Circle account. The free program allows members to earn 1% on nearly every purchase to redeem on a transaction in the future.

It should also be noted that the discount doesn’t include Target Visa Gift Cards, Target Mastercard Gift Cards, Target American Express Gift Cards, and gift cards issued by other retailers.

Target is also still having plenty of Cyber Week deals going on online right now. Today’s daily deals include 30% off handbags and select women’s clothes and accessories, and tomorrow you can score 30% off shoes for the whole family. Get more details on Target’s gift card deal here.
