Target openings set for 7 Brew in Warner Robins and Macon. Milledgeville gets one, too

A targeted opening date has been set for the 7 Brew in Warner Robins, the first of this drive-thru coffee stand franchise in Middle Georgia and the first business to open in a multi-development off Watson Boulevard.

The double-laned drive-thru coffee stand in Warner Robins sits on a 4.6 acre site at 4030 Watson Blvd., along with two other anticipated restaurants and potentially two to three other developments nearby.

The new 7 Brew in Warner Robins is expected to open July 31 if all goes to plan, said Matthew Davis, founder of Albany-based Davis Companies.

7 Brew

Also, two other 7 Brew stands are in the works for Middle Georgia, including one in Macon that’s targeted to open Aug. 21 at 1667 Bass Road, he said.

“It’s coming along nicely,” Davis said.

The other 7 Brew is to be built at 1801 Columbia Street in Milledgeville in front of Lowe’s, he said.

The coffee

7 Brew started with its first stand in Rogers, Arkansas, in 2017. Today, there are more than 100 locations of the brand, which got its name from the original seven coffee flavors served.

“We’re revolutionizing how customers experience drive-thru coffee by highlighting a positive experience, hand-crafted beverages and exceptional speed and service,” said Savannah Williamson, director of operations for franchisees Lion Heart Brews.

Lion Heart Brews is expected to open more than 70 locations across Georgia, including those in Warner Robins, Macon and Milledgeville.

7 Brew offers espresso-based coffee, chillers, teas, smoothies, infused energy and sodas. Also, 7 Brews offers more than a dozen sugar-free syrups and sauces.

Both the Warner Robins and Macon locations are hiring. Each store will need about 40 crew members.

Operating hours will be 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

At the Warner Robins site, the building is up for the Slim Chickens and equipment is being installed.

Slim Chickens is known for fresh chicken tenders and wings cooked to order and served with a choice of 17 housemade dipping sauces.

The first Slim Chickens opened in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in 2003. There are more than 150 Slim Chickens in 26 states, with the company targeting to expand to 600 restaurant locations by 2025.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop

The groundwork has been completed for the Fuzzy’s Taco Shop on the Warner Robins site between 7 Brew and Slim Chickens. But construction has not started.

Davis said the Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is still coming. A permit for the restaurant has been issued by the city of Warner Robins.

The Texas-based restaurant chain offers Mexican fare and is known for their Baja tacos, queso, margaritas and beeritas.

As for the other potential developments, Davis said that “one is signed — left of 7 Brew is signed.” He declined to elaborate with two other “potential” developments that are “still early in the process.”

Matthew Davis, founder of Albany-based Davis Companies, is also planning to develop the property immediately to the left of 7 Brew Drive-thru Coffee when facing the new coffee stand opening soon on Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins.
