Amber and Peter Augustin’s home was featured during an episode of the ABC series after it was damaged in a flood in June 2007. They were told their home of 12 years would need to be raised more than a foot before they could move in.

“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” aired from 2004-12 and for another season in 2020 with each episode featuring a family whose home was in desperate need of repairs.

The Augustin family vacationed in Hawaii for a week while hundreds of volunteers built the house for the cameras.

The 3,450 square-foot home features a two-car garage, a two-story foyer, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and is twice the size of the original one-story home the family owned. Other houses in the area are valued between $300,000 and $600,000.

When the episode, the Augustins hosted a viewing party for family, friends, neighbors and cast of the show at their church in December 2008. Tax records list the owner as the Augustin Family Living Trust.
