Taste of Chicago lineup for 2022: Nelly, Local H, Drive-By Truckers, plus neighborhood Tastes in Austin, Pullman and Little Village

The 2022 lineup for Taste of Chicago was announced Tuesday by Mayor Lori Lightfoot and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), the first year back after abbreviated and virtual offerings the past few summers. Expect bands, food vendors and perchance crowds. In addition to the big event in Grant Park, Taste of Chicago expands to the neighborhoods of Austin, Pullman and Little Village.

Taste of Chicago Austin (noon to 8 p.m. June 11 at 5720 W. Chicago Ave.): Live music presented by Soul City Blues on the West Side. Food vendors include Catered By Kish, Cooking from the Soul Catering, Cynthia’s Gumbo Express, Doom Street Eats, Josephine’s Southern Cooking, Mr. Quiles Mexican Food, Ms Tittle’s Cupcakes, Razpachos, Robinson’s No. 1 Ribs, Schweet Foods, The Sole Ingredient Catering and Whadda Jerk.

Taste of Chicago Pullman (noon to 8 p.m. June 18 in Pullman Park, 11101 S. Cottage Grove): A DJ-heavy lineup hosted by Charise Bennett of Komikal1 Entertainment. Food vendors include Don Paleta, Mr. Quiles Mexican Food, Ms Tittle’s Cupcakes, Cynthia’s Gumbo Express Inc, Auntie Vee’s Kitchen, Catered By Kish, Taco Sublime, Razpachos, Robinson’s No. 1 Ribs, Yum Dum, Chicago’s Doghouse, Southside Grinds, Coffee Co, JUS Sandwiches, Burp Restaurant and catering, Truth Ribzzz.
