Former Bridgewater-Raynham and Florida Southern College standout E.J. Dambreville taking his basketball talents to Denmark. He recently signed with Team FOG Næstved of the Basketligaen, Denmark's top professional basketball league.
The Greater Taunton real estate report, featuring a Raynham colonial that sold for $770,000. The Lounsbury Drive home was built in 1993, and has a modern kitchen with a breakfast nook, a fireplaced den, a large theatre room, and a finished basement. Abington teacher loses art studio in Taunton garage fire but isn't losing hope
Erin Slayton, a Taunton artist and full-time Abington teacher, is rebuilding her creative vision after a garage fire engulfed a part of her studio, setting her business back.
She was looking forward to hosting small art exhibits in her garage.
Her online art and handcrafted jewelry floral preservation business is called Pocket of Sunshine, and despite the fire, she plans to keep on making art.

You've no doubt heard of Lincoln Park, but did you know there was another summertime destination right here in Taunton? And one that was also started by a trolley company?
Sabbatia Park began as a late-19th-and-early-20th-century venture by the Taunton Street Railway Company. They wanted to drum up some business on weekends, so they extended the trolley tracks to Lake Sabbatia, and soon enough a lakeside destination was born.
The park drew thousands of visitors, looking to enjoy an afternoon or evening of open-air theater, or a turn on the merry-go-round, or even a scenic tour of the lake while enjoying a treat from the concession stand.

'Regular guy who wants to fix issues': This Taunton mayoral candidate says he would serve for free
Another mayoral candidate has thrown their hat into the race.
Charles Frederick Wright, or Chuck Wright, is running for mayor of Taunton.
Wright says he's "just a regular guy who wants to fix issues," such as what he feels is insufficient transparency across city government and departments with its citizens.
He also told the Gazette he would give his salary back to the city if elected; Gazette Reporter Daniel Schemer has the story.

Taunton man gets up to 6 years for violent gas station robbery with struggle over knife
A 39-year-old Taunton man was sentenced to up to six years in prison for a violent armed robbery at a Weir Street gas station in which he got into a struggle with the clerk over the robber's knife, the Bristol County district attorney's office said.
The DA's office said the clerk was able to seize the knife from the robber and stabbed him multiple times — but even that didn't stop him from continuing to try to rob the Geko gas station on June 22, 2022.
Christopher Azevedo pleaded guilty in Fall River Superior Court to indictments charging him with armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a dangerous weapon, according to a written statement from the DA's office.
