One suspect has been arrested in a fatal shooting Saturday at a job site at the Coronado's Camp area, according to a Taylor County Sheriff's Office news release.

Officers dispatched at about 9:38 a.m. located a 19-year-old man who was "shot and killed" in south Taylor County at the job site near U.S. Highway 277 and Farm to Market 89, the release said.

The TCSO in a second release identified the victim as Bernardo Aguilar.

The suspect had fled the scene but later was taken into custody at an undisclosed location, the first release said.

Sixto Daniel Torres has been charged with first-degree felony murder in connection with Aguilar's death. Torres is in the Taylor County Jail, and his bond was set at $1,000,000.

TCSO said the investigation continues and additional details will be released as they become available.
