Taylor family reacts to verdict: 'You robbed the world of a queen'

"I never had faith in Daniel Cameron to begin with. I knew he was too inexperienced to deal with a job of this caliber," Austin read.

Taylor, a 26-year-old African-American emergency medical technician, was shot and killed when three plainclothes officers broke down her door in March using a "no-knock" warrant to search for drugs.

Taylor's boyfriend said he believed the police were intruders and fired a gun at them. Police returned fire, shooting Taylor five times.

A grand jury this week decided the cops's use of force was justified.
