The queen is finally in the Queen City!

Happy Taylor Swift Day, Cincinnati. David Wysong here, news of now editor (and resident Swiftie) at The Enquirer.

I have been steering the ship for our Taylor Swift coverage this past month, leading up to her massive shows at Paycor Stadium on Friday and Saturday. And due to this being (in my unbiased opinion) the biggest concert weekend in Cincinnati history, we will have you covered from all angles.

Wanna know all the chants and the setlist before heading to the show? We have you covered like a midnight rain. Interested in getting merch? You'll never go out of style with our various stories on the merchandise trucks.

I will also be attending the Friday show, as will our photographer Sam Greene, and together we will bring you all the sights, sounds and shouts from the enchanted evening.

So get ready to dance like you're 22, Cincinnati. And follow The Enquirer's Taylor Swift coverage all weekend long.

What else you need to know Friday, June 30

🌩️ Weather: High of 89. Humid with intervals of clouds and sunshine; a strong afternoon thunderstorm; storms can bring flash flooding and damaging winds.

⚖️ Larry Householder: Ex-Ohio House Speaker sentenced to maximum 20 years.

🎤 Taylor Swift: Will her show be delayed if it storms? Here's what we know.

FC Cincinnati: Pat Noonan on first-place club: 'It's only going to get more difficult.'

🌮 Taco Bell: We survived the Volcano menu. Barely.

Before you go: 10 events for everybody else

If you'd like to avoid all that Swiftie mania, here are 10 other big events for you to get into this weekend. Most of these options steer well clear of the hullabaloo, but just know that if you're anywhere near Downtown, plan to struggle with traffic and parking and all those sorts of things.

We've got a festival featuring national music acts like Sister Hazel and Everclear, and one that showcases some of the best local bands in town. There are also lots of artsy happenings going on, including the Cincinnati Art Museum's open-late Art After Dark event focusing on the new Picasso exhibit.

And here's our full list of all the Fourth of July parties (and pre-parties) if you want to light that patriotic fuse early.
