Taylor Swift ‘The Eras Tour’ film coming to Cinemark theater in Erie this weekend

Taylor Swift might not be touring in northwest Pennsylvania this year. But her concert tour can still be enjoyed by Erie-area fans in a different way: On the big screen.

Cinemark's Tinseltown Erie, at 1910 Rotunda Drive in Erie, will feature Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” concert film beginning Friday.

Special merchandise and an opportunity for private viewing parties will be available.

Here’s what to know.

When will the movie play?

Shows begin Friday evening at 6, 6:20, 6:40, 7, 7:20, 8, 9:45, 10:25, 10:45, 11:05 and 11:45 p.m. and Saturday morning at 12:13 a.m. Tickets are still available for all showtimes, as of Wednesday.

The movie will play from Friday through Sunday, as well as Oct. 19-22, 26-29, 31 and Nov. 2-5.

How to get tickets?

Tickets can be purchased on the Cinemark website at Cinemark.com, under the Erie location. Tickets can also be purchased by calling Cinemark's Tinseltown Erie at 814-866-3390.

Tickets are $19.89 for adults and $13.13 for children, plus taxes and fees where applicable.

Will there be special merchandise?

The Erie theater will offer Taylor Swift collectible popcorn tubs and cups. The theater will feature special pink, iridescent popcorn.

The collectible popcorn tub is $13, and the collectible cup is $10, plus taxes where applicable.

Ticket holders will also receive a complimentary Taylor Swift 8x10” mini-poster Friday and until supplies last.

How to arrange a private viewing party?

Starting Oct. 19, a movie theater auditorium can be rented for private viewing parties with 1-40 guests at a flat rate of $795.60, equal to $19.89 per ticket for 40 tickets regardless of number of guests.

Private viewing parties will be offered Oct. 19-22 and Oct. 26-29.
