The Last of Us, an HBO adaptation of a popular zombie video game franchise, was Columbus’ top searched TV show. Thriller series “The Night Agent” followed, and guilty-pleasure reality show "The Golden Bachelor" took third.

‘Tour’ searches

In “tour” searches, Taylor Swift "The Eras Tour" dominated in Columbus. The wildly popular tour became itself a popular film experience in October and went on to become one of the largest box-office draws for movie theaters in 2023 and the highest-grossing concert film of all time.

Drake and Beyonce rounded out the top 3 for tour searches respectively.

Top “vs” searches

Columbus was the only city in which “Cincinnati vs Inter Miami” trended, Google noted. Cincinnati FC and Inter Miami CF teams played three matches this year. The popularity of this particular Miami team might have to do with Inter Miami's acquisition of legendary footballer Lionel Messi. In case you're curious, Messi and Miami will take on the MLS champion Columbus Crew in 2024, but good luck getting tickets.

Ohio native Logan Paul's foray into professional fighting also made the list thanks to his match with Dillon Danis.
