International pop star Taylor Swift has been a recent fixture at recent Kansas City Chiefs games in support of Super Bowl champion tight end Travis Kelce.

The rumored relationship between Kelce and Swift has been the hottest topic in the country after she attended the Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears. She was in New York on Sunday to watch Kelce and the Chiefs play the Jets. The story has dominated social media and has been mentioned on nearly every news network.

While Swift appears to be a new diehard Chiefs fan because of her association with Kelce, she is not the first celebrity spotted rooting for an NFL team.

Former President Barack Obama is a well-known Chicago Bears fan. Actor Mark Wahlberg, who is all things Boston sports, is a huge New England Patriots fan. Rapper Snoop Dogg is passionate about the Pittsburgh Steelers and has been known to suggest how the team should orchestrate its offense on social media.

Does a superstar actor, athlete, or entertainer exist as a superfan for the Carolina Panthers? Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles or even Gov. Roy Cooper might come to mind because of their city and state notoriety. But do they have Swiftie-like groupies? Do Lyles and Cooper rise to the level of leading national conversations on the gossip blogs and TikTok if they were simply seen at Bank of America Stadium?

Though the mayor and governor are truly important people, it is safe to assume that neither politician -- save for the President -- will be featured on Bleacher Report or ESPN for sitting in a sky box next to Bryce Young’s parents.

Who are Carolina Panthers celebrity fans?

Though a struggling bunch in the 2023 season, the Panthers have their share of big-name supporters.

Here are a few of note:

It starts with Golden State Warriors point guard and Charlotte native Stephen Curry. The future NBA Hall of Famer has been to Panthers games over the years and even appeared at Super Bowl 50 to serve as the Keep Pounding guest drummer for the Panthers.

Country star Luke Combs, of “Fast Car” fame, has been a longtime Panthers fan. The Huntersville native has even performed shows wearing the Carolina black and blue jersey on stage at concerts.

Charlotte native and rapper DaBaby is a huge Panthers fan, so much so that he produced a Carolina Panthers anthem video called Dab City in 2015 to pay homage to the team.
