Taylor Swift Played Justin Bieber, Harry Styles During Sirus XM Hits 1 Radio Set

From Conan Gray to Harry Styles, Taylor Swift is here to share all her recent favorite music as she moonlights as a DJ for SiriusXM.

Taylor took over Sirius XM Hits 1 on April 3 to talk about what she's doing while self-isolating and share a set of songs from other artists that she's enjoying right now. "It's safe to say we are living through unprecedented times right now," Taylor said at the beginning of the radio station's Hits 1 'n Chill program. She went on to say she's been doing a lot of cooking, reading, and watching movies (including Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window) but has also been online figuring out how to help — she's recently been donating to out-of-work fans and Nashville businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, she's sharing songs for fans to listen to. Her Hits 1 set kicked off with a shoutout to mutual fan Conan Gray's "Maniac," from his new album, about which Taylor said "you gotta check out.... It's phenomenal." She name-checked Conan again later on, urging fans to check out his "imaginative" new album, Kid Krow, and his song "Wish You Were Sober."

The set also included a throwback to Taylor's former love interest: Harry Styles. Though she didn't comment on the choice, she did play his most recent song, "Adore You," which, taste. It wasn't the only allusion to dramas past. Right after Harry, Taylor played Justin Bieber's new track, "Intentions" — an interesting move considering his relationship to Scooter Braun and his tumultuous past with Selena Gomez, one of Taylor's best friends. Fans had, ahem, thoughts on that choice.

Speaking of friends, Taylor mentioned she's still finding ways to connect with loved ones using technology. "A lot of my friends and I have been doing weekly family FaceTime," she said. "We can still keep in touch with people; we can play games on our phones [together] ... even if a situation is strange and really confusing at the moment."

Back in the land of more on-brand songs, Taylor then played Halsey's "You Should Be Sad" ("I absolutely love this song and love this girl") as well as Ariana Grande's "Into You," which transitioned into "Hey Look Ma, I Made It" by Panic! At the Disco, who collaborated with her on her song "ME!" And Harry wasn't the only former One Direction member to get a shoutout; Taylor also picked out Niall Horan's "No Judgement."

Other selections included The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face"; Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, and Cardi B's "South of the Border"; 5 Seconds of Summer's "Old Me"; Arizona Zervas's "Roxanne"; Ava Max's "Sweet But Psycho," and Billie Eilish's "Everything I Wanted." Another ex reference? "What a Man Gotta Do," by none other than the Jonas Brothers. And of course, no Taylor set is complete without Miss Swift herself: She played "The Man," her own most recent single.

But Taylor also took time to share encouragement for listeners as the world continues through the crisis.

"One thing that has been really encouraging to me is that a lot of people online are banding together," Taylor said near the end of the hour, citing both monetary donations and supportive words she's seen on the internet. "Right now we have to connect with our humanity more than we ever have before."

Taylor's set will air throughout the weekend on Hits 1 and On Demand, and it's only the first of future "Home DJ" sets to come for the station. Future DJs include Niall Horan, Camila Cabello, Sia, 5 Seconds of Summer, Diplo, Kelsea Ballerini, Charlie Puth, Pete Wentz, and more.
