Two-piece sets will never go Out of Style. Taylor Swift has had no shortage of spotlights on her this year (literally and figuratively) due to her record-breaking Eras tour that is set to pick back up again in 2024. While her tour costumes are certainly worth talking about — especially her last show’s all-blue pieces in promotion of 1989 (Taylor’s Version) — Swift has been a notable fashion icon since she stepped into the music industry with the song, Tim McGraw.
The singer recently attended musical producer Jack Antonoff’s wedding in New Jersey, where she was spotted wearing a sky blue Melora Draped Lace Midi Dress from Saks Fifth Avenue to the ceremony. Although that fit is currently sold out, Swift wore an equally stylish (and much more affordable) outfit to the rehearsal dinner that you can buy for yourself. The soon-to-be billionaire was pictured leaving the venue in a black two-piece set by Hill House Home. The June Nap Top costs $95, with The Delphine Nap Skirt to match for $128 — for a total of $223. Unfortunately, the black color is out of stock, but you can purchase a Navy Cotton color that carries the same whimsical effect (or the red color, which seems extremely fitting for both her fourth studio album and iconic lip).
With each sold separately, you can certainly just splurge on just one of the pieces to add to your summer collection, as the mix-and-match possibilities are endless. Taylor accessorized the look with Aupen’s black Nirvana purse for $340 — and get this, it’s also available in red! Swift has a reputation (subtle album name drop intended) for rocking matching two-piece sets — like that navy blue top and skirt at the 2023 Grammys or that Shake it Off fringe tour outfit that was all over our social media pages.
This past weekend, hardcore Swifties made headlines when they completely swarmed the rehearsal dinner venue just to spot Taylor. Turns out, not everyone was in complete agreement with the fans' commotion at the star-studded personal wedding (including some self-proclaimed Swifites arguing that it was “disrespectful”). While Swifties were mobbing the streets, we were online shopping for that elegant two-piece set. Oh, and playing Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) on repeat.
