ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – Taylor Swift is no longer using one of her private jets, and it appears that aircraft has some rather new and mysterious ties to the St. Louis region.

Triangle Real Estate LLC, a company based out of St. Charles County, is now a registered owner of a jet with the identification number N898TS, according to Federal Aviation Authority records. The company has a certificate for the aircraft as of Feb. 6, 2024.

FOX 2 analyzed several reports and pieces of documentation on Thursday suggesting that pop music star Taylor Swift formerly used this jet.

We have reached out to Felicia Dixon, an agent listed for Triangle Real Estate LLC through the Missouri Secretary of State’s Office, for confirmation, but we have yet to hear back.

That said, the parts align for yet another surprising Taylor Swift connection to the St. Louis area.

What We Know

Business Insider reports that Swift parted ways with her Dassault Falcon 900 model aircraft on January 30, citing FAA data. The publication further reports that the aircraft was previously registered to SATA LLC, a company that reportedly uses the same address as Taylor Swift Productions in Nashville.

SATA LLC is a holding company with a registration history of a Dassault Falcon 900 aircraft with registration number N898TS since 2009, according to aviation-based websites PlaneLogger.com and FlightAware.com. The second website reports a “pending registration” in St. Peters, Missouri, as of Feb. 2, 2024.

Triangle Real Estate LLC’s address is listed on the FAA records for aircraft N898TS as 503 Pearl Drive in St. Peters. Google Maps actually recognizes that address as being within the boundaries of O’Fallon, Missouri, just west of St. Peters. Still, both municipalities are within St. Charles County.

It’s also worth noting that the address of 503 Pearl Drive is listed as one that CarShield, a St. Louis-area auto protection company, uses for a career center. FOX 2 has also reached out to CarShield about any potential connection’s to the jet registered in St. Peters, but we have yet to hear back from the company.

Leading Up To That

Lawyers representing Taylor Swift sent a cease-and-desist letter to a 21-year-old Florida college student named Jack Sweeney in December for operating social media accounts with the handle @taylorswiftjets.

Using that handle on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram no longer leads to existing accounts. However, there is still one account that has been tracking Taylor Swift flights under the handle of @SwiftJetNextDay.

As of Thursday, the account hasn’t posted details on any flights since Jan. 31. The last one posted was a flight from Cahokia, Illinois, to the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, Missouri.

On Wednesday, the X account posted “The last few flights on this account are right around the time that N898TS was sold.” It adds that short flights, like ones from Cahokia to Chesterfield, are likely maintenance or demo flights. The account states that, as of now, Swift only has one other private jet.

FOX 2 also reached out to the Spirit of St. Louis Airport for comment about any possible connections to aircraft N898TS, but we have yet to hear back from airport officials.

Possibly More To It

The future of the aircraft remains to be determined, and FAA records don’t quite make it clear who might have purchased the jet or for how much, even with the registration under Triangle Real Estate LLC.

Adding more ambiguity to the matter, the Missouri Secretary of State also lists Triangle Real Estate LLC under a different address than the one listed on FAA records. Secretary of State documents linked to the company’s page also include the signature of Nicholas Hamilton, the CEO of CarShield.

As FOX 2 seeks more information on Taylor Swift’s jet situation and any possible local connections, it’s worth revisiting that she also has some family ties to the St. Louis area and has even name-dropped St. Louis in one of her well-known songs.
