Taylor Swift unrecognisable as she transforms into a man for scathing new music video
Taylor Swift has shed her usual image for her latest video for song The Man by assuming the role of a bolshy male alter ego with more than a little help from some impressive prosthetics.
The singer takes a dig at male executives in the video which sees her persona surrounded by girls, smoking cigars, and being praised for doing the bare minimum. The Man is the fourth track off of Swift’s seventh album, Lover.
It comes after Swift, 30, was recently locked in a spat with Big Machine Records boss Scooter Braun over the ownership of her previous work.

The artist further made references to the feud with some carefully placed graffiti in one scene indicating "no scooters" among references to her previous albums owned by Big Machine.
Another sign on the wall at the subway station reads: "Missing, if found return to Taylor Swift."
The song challenges the difference in the way society treats men and women while doing the same roles.
One lyric reads: "I'm so sick of running as fast as I can / Wondering if I'd get there quicker if I was a man."
‘Tyler Swift’ becomes the World’s Greatest Dad, merely for patting a young child on the head and is also applauded by his entire office.
Swift does make an appearance as her real self at the end of the video as her male alter ego asks her for some directional notes.

The You Need To Calm Down singer doesn't lend her own voice to him however, as it's Dwayne Johnson who provides the vocals.
"Could you try to be sexier? Maybe more likeable this time?" she tells him.
In a defiant nod to her control over her own career nowadays, the titles state that the video was directed by, written by and owned by Swift, as well as her being the star.
Finally, the video wraps up showing the performer’s impressive transformation as a time-lapse displays how her new look was achieved via make up and prosthetics.
