Taylor Swift went "old Taylor" so hard in this Juliet-style princess dress at the TIME 100 Gala

Even though we absolutely love the empowered, boss babe version of Taylor Swift that the Reputation era brought us, we have to be honest…we’ve kinda missed the “old Taylor.” And it seems like her most recent appearance might be bringing us back, because her latest princess dress is giving us so many OG Taylor vibes.

Swift performed at the TIME 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday, April 23rd, wearing a pink and yellow J. Mendel gown with romantic, billowy sleeves and floral detailing. She topped the look off with a floral tiara headband, virtually solidifying her status as a fairy tale princess come to life.

She completed the look with a loose, romantic updo and glittery nail polish.

But it wasn’t just Swift’s look that brought us back to the old days—the singer also performed a medley of her most dreamy hits, including “Style,” “Delicate,” and even a rendition of “Love Story,” which she performed 10 years earlier at her first TIME 100 gala, per Variety.

And in case you haven’t heard, Swift is debuting something on April 26th, leaving cryptic clues all over her social media accounts about what fans can expect. One thing’s for sure: It’s probably not going to be moody and dark à la Reputation, because we’re getting ethereal images of hearts, butterflies, and clouds in pastel shades.

Stay tuned, Swifties!
