Taylor Swift, famous for her album Easter eggs, appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night and ended up dropping hints about when her next re-recorded album 1989 is coming out—at least according to fans on Twitter.

Swifties pieced together clues from Swift's interview, which included a visual aide, to argue the singer subtly revealed that she'll be releasing her re-recording of 1989 next. The release date predictions have ranged from mid-May to sometime in June.

Billboard pulled together some of the most convincing deep-dive tweets:

Other fans pointed out Colbert holding a pizza (New York City staple and allusion to Swift's 1989 track “Welcome to New York”) with five pepperonis (1989 was Swift's fifth album):

Swift also wore heart earrings (a reference to 1989's “Blank Space”) and all black (a reference to 1989's “Shake It Off”) during other press for her re-release of Fearless:

Swift has already released the first clip of her re-recording of “Wildest Dreams” from 1989, so releasing that album next and in the summer isn't completely out of left field.

Swift spoke in May 2019 about her love of planting Easter eggs in her music videos, interviews, and social media. She does it for the fans and fun, she told Entertainment Weekly then. “I love that they like the cryptic hint-dropping,” she said. “Because as long as they like it, I’ll keep doing it. It’s fun. It feels mischievous and playful.”
