Police give all-clear after lockdown at TCC Norfolk campus
NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Tidewater Community College Norfolk campus went into lockdown temporarily Monday afternoon.
A student reported seeing five people standing in front of the student center and said one of the individuals took a gun from their waistband.
TCC remained in lockdown while Norfolk police searched the area and interviewed the witness.
#TCCALERT: The Norfolk Campus is currently on lockdown. Faculty, staff, and students on campus, shelter in place. No one should come to the campus at this time.

Norfolk police gave TCC the all-clear just before 1:30 p.m., but officers continued to patrol the area.
