Sporting News: Georgia 41, TCU 27

Bill Bender writes: "Knowing that the CFP champion has averaged 40 points per game the last eight seasons, this is a first-one-to-40-type game. If Max Duggan has time, then he will make some great plays in the passing game. Running back Kendre Miller's health is a concern. TCU must get after Stetson Bennett, who averages 311.7 passing yards per game with eight TDs and one interception in three career CFP games. Bennett will throw a pair of first-half TDs, and Georgia's physical rushing attack of Kenny McIntosh, Daijuan Edwards and Kendall Milton will ground out any hopes of a miracle comeback for the Horned Frogs. TCU does not get blown out, but Georgia will dictate the game tempo on the way to 40-plus points."

OddsChecker: Take TCU with the points vs. Georgia

Matt McCuen writes: "I can not pass up this large of a line on TCU. Georgia will most likely win this game but getting nearly two touchdowns in a National Championship game is absurd. TCU has been overlooked all season long, and they are being overlooked once again here. Michigan is an outstanding team, and Tcu dropped nearly fifty points on them. I am not saying that they will do that to Georgia, but I do believe that they will do enough to stay within this large number. I trust the Horned Frogs on Monday night."

Pete Fiutak writes: "TCU will move the ball on the suddenly shaky Georgia defense, but there will be a lot of bending but not breaking. It won’t be enough as Stetson Bennett and the offense go on a flurry early on so the D could take over. I’m seeing the Oregon game for Georgia. It comes out perfectly polished, scores easily on the first two drives and coasts from there."

PicksWise: Go with TCU with the points against Georgia

Luke Lindholm writes: "The game total is 62.5, which indicates this game could be high-scoring. We anticipate a back-and-forth affair, similar to both teams’ semi-final contests. With this being the case, our Georgia vs. TCU pick is for the Horned Frogs to cover the +12.5 spread."

Game recap:Georgia rallies then needs Ohio State missed field goal to win Peach Bowl and reach title game

Sporting News: TCU 49, Georgia 45

Edward Sutelan writes: “If there were two takeaways from the CFP semifinals, it should be that the Horned Frogs aren’t to be taken lightly and that Georgia is vulnerable. The Bulldogs struggled against quarterback C.J. Stroud anytime he managed to escape pressure, and he is far less mobile than Max Duggan. The TCU receiving room isn’t as explosive as Ohio State’s, but Quentin Johnston and Taye Barber are dangerous, and TCU will have more of a run game to support the offense than Ohio State. TCU has been David all year. On Monday, the Frogs end this miraculous season by taking down Goliath.”

Bleacher Report: Georgia 35, TCU 20

Joe Tansey writes: "Georgia has the killer touch that could put TCU down by multiple scores, while the Horned Frogs have mostly been known for playing in close games. If Georgia’s defense improves even slightly from the Peach Bowl, it could break out to a large lead and cover the spread while winning its second title in a row."
