Kurt Gibbins, tea lover and owner of Ohio Tea Company in Canton, will be at the Dover Public Library on Wednesday, July 20 at 6:30 p.m. to talk about tea. In a program titled Tea 101, Gibbins will give a brief history of tea and explain what makes teas different.

He will also demonstrate the best ways to brew tea.

He will tell how he came to open his unique family-owned business in the historic Lake Cable Shopping Center in Canton where they sell more than 400 loose leaf teas, tisanes and herbs from around the world as well as handcrafted tea accessories.

“Tea, tea  and more tea,” says Denise Campbell-Johnson, interlibrary loan librarian, who makes frequent visits to The Ohio Tea Co. in Canton. “The store has everything you could imagine for the tea lover, and then some. I could spend hours looking at everything and asking questions of the very knowledgeable staff. I look forward to seeing Kurt at the library.”

This program will be held in the Community Room at the library, located at 525 N. Walnut Street, Dover.  Register online at www.doverlibrary.org or call the library at 330-343-6123.
