'I Will Teach My Grandkids to Hate You': Woman Proclaims 'KKK Belief' at Missouri Protest
As rival groups of protesters gathered in Branson, Missouri, on June 21, a woman with a Confederate flag was heard telling someone “I will teach my grandkids to hate you.”
Footage by Heath Goetsch shows the woman, named by local media as Kathy Bennett, as she waves a Confederate flag, saying “suck on this” and “KKK belief”.
The Springfield News-Leader reported that more than 100 people gathered in front of Branson Dixie Outfitters on Sunday.
According to the report, over half of the people gathered were there to protest Dixie Outfitters and show support for the Black Lives Matter movement. The remainder came to support the store, which uses the Confederate flag in its logo. Credit: Heath Goetsch via Storyful
