Teacher’s aide had sex with three teens: police
A teaching aide accused of having sexual relations with two 17-year-old students and a 16-year-old was arrested in Texarkana, Texas.
The Texarkana Gazette said Ashlyn Faye Bell, 24, was involved with the three teens last fall. She worked for the Texarkana Independent School District from Aug. 5, 2019, to May 22, 2020.
Bell came to the attention of investigators after an unidentified teacher reportedly heard a group of male students joking that one of the teens had impregnated the educator, who worked in the school’s library.
The student being teased told that teacher Bell assured him “he was not the daddy” of her baby.
One of the 17-year-oldS who allegedly became involved with Bell told police he’d hooked up with the former staffer during Thanksgiving break. The two reportedly met up at a truck stop after communicating on SnapChat, then went back to Bell’s place. Bell’s baby was reportedly asleep in a car seat when she picked up the teenager.
The other 17-year-old said he’d been to Bell’s house a couple times before they had sex.
The 16-year-old Bell is accused of hooking up with reportedly communicated with her via SnapChat, too. He reached out after a Nov. 22 football game to say he wanted to come over — in jest, the boy claimed.
Bell reportedly strapped her child into the car seat, headed to Bell’s place and brought him back to her home in nearby New Boston, Texas. When they were finished consummating that relationship, she drove him home shortly after 5 a.m. They hooked up again that weekend, the report said.
Bell was charged with having improper relationships with the 17-year-old boys and sexually assaulting the 16-year old. She could spend 20 years in jail if convicted.
Bell is free on $150,000 bond.
