Teacher Appreciation Week: Entire school helps guide elementary teacher to sweet surprise

In an elementary school hallway, students formed a guard of honor for a teacher about to experience a life-changing moment.

Kaitlin Whitehead, a teacher at Oakvale Elementary in Princeton, West Virginia, was shocked to find students and teachers lining the hallway holding a variety of gifts that each class had helped create. As music played, she moved down the hall, collecting a handful of flowers along the way. Then, at the end of the line, she was met by Chase Brown, also a teacher at the school and Kaitlin’s boyfriend.

And Chase was more than just another wellwisher, as he promptly got down on one knee and proposed. Happily, Kaitlin said yes!
