I-TEAM looks into driver who plowed into Hopkins fences

CLEVELAND (WJW) — The FOX 8 I TEAM did some digging to find out more about a driver crashing through fences at Hopkins Airport while driving with kids in her car.

We’ve found no charges against the driver yet, but she still could face charges and we also checked on what’s happening with the kids.

Monday, SkyFox HD captured video after a driver plowed through multiple fences at Hopkins

An airport worker also captured video as this incident happened.

Cleveland Police said the driver was having some kind of crisis.

Police told us she was taken for a mental health evaluation. But, she could face charges later for vandalism and child endangering.

The Airport worker said Monday, “I was like hey you gotta stop. I got help on the way then I saw the two kids in the back seat and they were crying. I feel bad for the kids, honestly. That’s what I feel bad for.”

As for the kids, police said family members arrived at the scene Monday and picked up the children.
