Teamfight Tactics Mobile officially launched in the Asia-Pacific region on Wednesday (22 November), extending the gaming experience to players in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Macau.

Teamfight Tactics Mobile is the mobile port of Teamfight Tactics, the autobattler spinoff of League of Legends developer by Riot Games that is based on the original Dota Auto Chess mod for Dota 2. In autobattler games like Teamfight Tactics, players will form and upgrade a team of characters and position them in chessboard-like playing fields where they will automatically fight against the teams of other players.

With Southeast Asia being one of the most mobile-centric markets, Teamfight Tactics Mobile hopes to bring more players into the fray and enjoy what the game offers.

“We can't wait to see who jumps into the initial launch, and we're going to be looking and listening hard for feedback from local players on where and how to improve the game moving into the future,” Geoffrey Virtue, the Executive Producer of Teamfight Tactics said in an interview with Yahoo Gaming SEA.

“Singapore is a key region for us, and it’s one that we’re incredibly excited to continue expanding in,” he added.

Players can now download the game for free on Google Play and the App Store, with cross-platform play up and running as well.

To make the welcome of mobile players even more exciting, players can get a ton of in-game freebies. Players only need to log into the game for seven days straight to get Star Shards, Icons, and more.

If you log in for six consecutive days, you get 20 Star Shards daily. And the deal sweetens if you complete the full week! Along with the 20 Star Shards, you will also get Chonnc’s Milk Tea Icon and Mixmaster Ao Shin.

Logging in multiple times in a single day won't earn you extra. The event is live until 7 January 2024.

Players in Vietnam should note that their seven-day log-in event will be announced through official Vietnamese channels later.

In addition to the online festivities, Pengu has been actively engaging with players through on-site activities across Asia. From a grand launch party in Bangkok, Thailand, to loot orb hunts in Metro Manila, Philippines, and a disco bash in Indonesia, players can anticipate a diverse range of events in various locations.

These activities aim to enhance the gaming community's experience and contribute to the overall excitement surrounding the launch of Teamfight Tactics Mobile.
